J.W.Goethe a G.B.Shaw - jejich postoj k islámu

Zajímám se blíže o fakt, že se Johann Wolfgang von Goethe a George Bernard Shaw dost nadchli pro islám. Jsou známy mj. jejich výroky vztahující se k tomu. Projevilo se to u nich nějak výrazněji - životní orientace, čerpání z islámské etiky? Je snad možné, že někdy v pozdějším věku dokonce konvertovali k islámu (oba či některý z nich)? Uvítám informační zdroje. Předem děkuji.

je pravda, že oba spisovatelé, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe a George Bernard Shaw, sympatizovali s islámem.

George B. Shaw je autorem několika výroků, které vynášejí islámské náboženství nad ostatní. Na internetu jsme například dohledali tyto výroky:
