first of all, there is no need to apologize. I assume that when you're epayking of "our" soldiers, you mean Czech and Slovak soldiers in the Austro-Hungarian army. Regarding photographs, I would recommend you to look into one of books, mentioned further in the e-mail; all of the mentioned titles should be available per interlibrary loans. In case of maps, probably easiest, yet very comprehensive is compendium Österreich-Ungarns letzter Krieg, a chronicle of austro-hungarian involvement in the Great war, with each volume analyzing each year, with cartographical supplements.
Recommened are these following documents:
